As great as the KYB SSS/AOS are in being some of the best forks on the market, the one flaw they hold are the plastic free pistons that come stock on them. Even with the updated bleed hole on later model forks, there is still a concern for the free pistons to become brittle and damaged over time given the material they are made of. With the Tusk Fork Free Pistons, that concern is a thing of the past with its billet aluminum construction for extended durability and windowed design that helps in creating a plusher initial feeling in the fork.
